Copyright & Takedowns

Blackframe credits every creator and links back to the origin of each asset. If something here is yours and you didn't agree to it being shared, tell us and we'll look at it promptly.

Please include as much of the following as you can, so we can act quickly:

  • the link to the Blackframe asset page you are reporting;
  • a description of the work you own, and where the original can be found;
  • your name and the email address we can reach you on;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, the owner or the law;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner, or are authorised to act for the owner;
  • your signature (typing your full name is fine).

Use the contact page: choose the subject Other and start your message with “Takedown request”. You need to be signed in to send a message.

We review each notice, and we may remove or disable access to the asset while we do. We may share your notice with the person who submitted the asset. If the asset is restored or stays up, we'll tell you why.

If you believe an asset was removed by mistake, contact us with the asset link and an explanation and we'll take another look.

Knowingly sending a false or misleading notice can have legal consequences. If you're unsure whether something infringes your rights, ask us a question first.
