Good tools shouldn't be a privilege.
Blackframe starts with a simple idea: the tools that help you create should open doors, not put another price tag in your way.
We're building a home for plugins, OFX, LUTs, footage, sound, and visual assets. Practical tools for the work you love — whether it's your first edit or your next film.
Less time fighting limits. More time making something yours.
WHY IT'S FREE
95% free.
100% on purpose.
The essentials stay free, forever. Our single paid plan, Blackframe Studio, keeps them that way and funds the next release.
For less than a coffee a month, Studio members get our own premium plugins and support — and help put more free tools in everyone's hands.
Blackframe StudioWHAT WE BELIEVE
Free first.
The essentials belong to everyone. Around 95% of Blackframe is free, forever.
Community driven.
The best ideas come from the people doing the work. Yours help shape what comes next.
Professional quality.
Free should describe the price, not the standard. Tools made for work you're proud to share.

Inside Blackframe StudioCOMMUNITY, NOT CUSTOMERS
Your ideas matter.
That missing tool. That repetitive task. That look you can't quite get. We turn community ideas into plugins and assets that solve real problems.
